Holy Sheet!
Jesus has shown up at Hardy’s Hardware in Manchester, CT. Thomas Haley was unloading a truck several weeks ago when he came across a piece of sheet metal with an oily stain on it that he says is the image of Jesus Christ. He and a co-worker bought it and put it on eBay. “I feel kind of bad just pawning off Christ,” Haley said, though it’s likely he’ll feel much better if someone clicks the “Buy It Now” button and forks over $10,000 for it.

Open Door, Enter Jesus
Members of the Reigning Light of the Healing Chapel in North Vernon, Indiana, say the patterns on a wooden door of the church look like an image of Jesus. They liken it to the image seen on the Shroud of Turin, which is not affiliated in any way with the XXth Olympic Winter Games at Turin. Make up your own mind.

Mary On The Rebound
The image of the Virgin Mary has appeared on a basketball backboard in Miami. People are holding prayer vigils and creating a shrine there, saying it’s a message to understand the significance of Christmas. Better late than never.

Cheesy Jesus
Workers at the Stadium Club in Jacksonville, Florida found what they believe to be an image of Jesus in a steam table tray used to keep nachos warm. A spokesman for the restaurant says they won’t use the pan anymore. The wait staff will steer people away from the now cold nachos and try to get them to try the Buffalo wings, stuffed potato skins, and fried mozzarella sticks.

An image of Jesus appeared on a steel plate in Southern Ireland. It’s being sold on eBay (surprise!) and the seller says: “A PHOTOGRAPH OF JESUS;; IMAGE WITH OUT; ANY AIR BRUSHING OR ALTERATIONS OF ANY KIND.” Okay, someone scribbled on it with a red pen, but other than that…

A Christmas Miracle
‘Twas the week before Christmas, and all through eBay,
The spiritual images showed up in all ways.
Like one in Nebraska that you see right here,
Where Mary and Jesus, on a door did appear.
It first made its showing when Mother was ill,
And as it grew darker, she slowly got well.
Now you have a chance to own that wondrous door,
Keep your eyes on the auctions there are bound to be more.
